The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link will be officially opened to traffic on the afternoon of June 30.
According to the Southern Daily, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link Management Center held a media briefing on Thursday (June 27), announcing that the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link will be open for trial operation at 3 pm on June 30, 2024.
The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link is a key control project of China's national highway network G2518 across the Pearl River Estuary. It is about 30 kilometers north of the Humen Bridge and about 31 kilometers south of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. It starts from the Shenzhen Airport Interchange, crosses the Lingdingyang Sea to the west, connects with the Nanzhong Expressway through the Wanqingsha Interchange, lands on Ma'an Island in Zhongshan City, and connects with the Zhongkai Expressway.
