A mountain flood in Nanyue District, Hengyang City, Hunan Province, China triggered a landslide, killing 12 people and injuring six.

According to the Hunan Daily, at 8:18 a.m. on Sunday (July 28, 2024), a landslide caused by mountain torrents in Yuelin Village, Shouyue Township, Nanyue District, Hengyang City, Hunan Province, caused a one-story homestay to be washed down and 21 people were buried.

As of 12:10 p.m., a total of 18 buried people were found, of which 12 were killed and six were injured.
