Jilin Linjiang launches first-level flood prevention response

As the water level of the Yalu River exceeded the warning line and was still rising rapidly, the water conservancy department of Linjiang City issued a red flood warning, predicting that major flood disasters might occur.

On July 28, 2024, the People's Government of Linjiang City, Jilin Province issued an announcement: Linjiang City has currently launched a level one flood prevention response. After hearing the air raid alarm, the general public, residents living on the third floor or below, should move to higher places or move to higher floors as soon as possible, and all residents of bungalows should move to higher places immediately.
