At 22:56 on April 10, 2024, a magnitude 5.6 earthquake occurred in Baicheng County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang, China (41.98 degrees north latitude, 82.56 degrees east longitude), with a focal depth of 16 kilometers. The earthquake was felt in Aksu, Yining, Korla and other places around the epicenter.
