Knife-wounding incident in Shanghai subway

A knife-wounding incident occurred in the Shanghai subway, injuring three people. The attacker has been arrested.

According to the Shanghai Public Security Bureau, at 8:28 a.m. on Wednesday (June 19, 2024), a knife attack occurred at Hechuan Road Station on Shanghai Metro Line 9. After receiving the alarm, the police quickly arrived at the scene and sent the three injured people to the hospital for treatment.

At present, the suspect Shen (male, 54 years old) has been arrested by the police, and the case is under further investigation.
