An explosion occurred at a factory in Hengyang City, Hunan Province, China, killing two people and slightly injuring one.

According to Xinhua News Agency, it was learned from the Songmu Economic Development Zone in Hengyang, Hunan that at 11:58 on Tuesday (July 30, 2024), a physical explosion occurred in the rising film evaporator of the triazole workshop of Hunan Xiangshuo Chemical Co., Ltd.

According to the report, the injured are currently in stable condition, the on-site rescue has been completed, and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
