According to the official measurement of the China Earthquake Networks Center: At 5:51 am on May 9, 2025, a magnitude 3.4 earthquake occurred in Baicheng County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang, China (41.80 degrees north latitude, 81.69 degrees east longitude), with a focal depth of 16 kilometers.
