According to the official measurement of the China Earthquake Networks Center: At 19:37 on May 16, 2025 in Shaya County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang, China (39.70 degrees north latitude, 82.93 degrees east longitude), a magnitude 3.6 earthquake occurred with a focal depth of 12 kilometers.
