More than 1,600 Chinese citizens evacuated from Iran

Guo Jiakun, a spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said at a regular press conference on Thursday (June 19, 2025) that so far, under the organization and coordination of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Chinese embassies and consulates in Iran, Israel and neighboring countries, more than 1,600 Chinese citizens have been safely evacuated from Iran, and hundreds of Chinese citizens have been evacuated from Israel. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant embassies and consulates will continue to make every effort to assist the safe transfer and evacuation of Chinese citizens.
