The Hong Kong Census and Statistics Department released the latest "Women and Men in Hong Kong - Key Statistics (2025 Edition)" on Friday (August 29, 2025).

According to statistics, Hong Kong's total population is 7.5 million. Of these, approximately 4.096 million are women and 3.4045 million are men. Among those aged 25 to 64, 1.264 million have never been married, comprising 655,000 women and 608,000 men.
