According to CCTV News on October 12, 2025, Han Zhanwu, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration of China, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and laws and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission.
