According to the official measurement by the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), a magnitude 5.5 earthquake occurred in Diebu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, China (34.06°N, 103.25°E) at 14:56 on January 26, 2026. The tremor had a focal depth of 10 kilometers.
