China Eastern Airlines announced on Wednesday that it has signed a purchase agreement with Airbus to acquire 101 A320neo series aircraft.

According to the announcement, the aircraft are scheduled for delivery in batches between 2028 and 2032. The total list price for the order is approximately $15.802 billion.

China Eastern stated that following multiple rounds of commercial negotiations, the company and Airbus agreed on a transaction price significantly lower than the basic list price, securing a substantial discount.
