At approximately 14:20 on March 28, 2026, a rare "banded" mirage appeared off the Aranya Golden Coast in Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province. The image manifested as a neat horizontal strip extending from the left to the right of the horizon.

Witnesses described the vision as containing "train-like" architectural clusters resembling structures built from building blocks, complete with clear house outlines, large supporting pillars, and moving ships. The visual effect was colorful, with flat edges and distinct boundaries separating it from the sky and sea. The phenomenon lasted for approximately one hour, gradually dissipating by 15:40.
