Reports Circulate Online of Random Stabbing in Shenyang

According to Hong Kong media reports, online rumors suggest a random stabbing incident occurred in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, on Saturday, April 4, 2026, where a man allegedly attacked people with a knife on the street.

Multiple videos circulating online indicate the incident was concentrated around Nanjing Street No. 3 Primary School and the market area near Taiyuan Street in Shenyang's Heping District. The attacker was seen wielding a knife and indiscriminately attacking people along the road next to the market. Reports state the man was immediately apprehended by police. However, some local netizens and eyewitnesses claim he allegedly fled to a nearby building and died after falling or jumping from it.

As of now, Shenyang officials have not issued any public statement or clarification regarding this incident.
