A tea factory collapsed in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, China, trapping six people and killing three of them.

The Yunnan Provincial Fire and Rescue Corps reported on its official Weibo that an earth collapsed at the Jiezhuo Tea Factory in Jinuoshan Township, Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province on Friday (May 17), leaving six people trapped. As of 8:30 a.m. on Saturday (18th), three of the trapped people had died, and the three rescued people were receiving treatment in the hospital. Their vital signs are currently stable.

After the accident, Xishuangbanna Prefecture organized more than 80 professional rescue personnel from emergency, natural resources, public security, health, and firefighting to rush to the scene and invested in two rescue machines, two sets of life detectors and four search and rescue dogs to search and rescue the trapped people.
