Qinghai Emerald Lake

Emerald Lake is located in Daxiadan area of ​​Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, China. It was originally a lakeside wetland. In the 1960s and 1970s, workers came to Daxiadan area to develop salt lake resources and mined the mineral-bearing soil layer under the lake. Over time, puddles were formed. Due to the different sizes and depths of each puddle and the different content of dissolved minerals in the water, the magical and beautiful colorful lake water was eventually formed.
