Chaerhan Salt Lake

The Chaerhan Salt Lake, located in the north of Golmud City, Qinghai Province, China, has formed thick layers of salt caps on the lake surface due to thousands of years of intense evaporation. The salt caps are particularly hard, and people build factories, railways, and roads on them, forming the famous "Ten Thousand Meter Salt Bridge" and other landscapes. The salt fields excavated in the production of potash fertilizers have formed an artificial lake of dozens of square kilometers, with rippling brine, salt-collecting ships cruising on it, and salt flowers on the shore crystallizing into beautiful shapes and various "pearl salts" and "coral salts", which are fascinating.
