China Mobile's Intelligent Computing Center was completed and put into operation

On August 30, 2024, the construction of China Mobile Intelligent Computing Center (Harbin) was completed and officially put into operation. The intelligent computing center is technologically advanced and self-controllable, and can provide an efficient, stable, safe and controllable computing power base for trillion-level large model training.

It is understood that the intelligent computing center has extreme computing power, with a 100% localization rate of AI chips. For the first time, it has explored the upper limit of the deployment scale of a single cluster of 18,000 intelligent computing cards through domestic network equipment, and can provide 6.9EFLOPS (690 billion half-precision floating-point operations per second) of intelligent computing power, which is equivalent to more than 3 million high-performance computers.
