Hunan Provincial Finance Director Liu Wenjie and two criminal suspects fell to their deaths on the same day

Liu Wenjie, secretary of the CPC Party Committee and director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Finance, died unexpectedly on Thursday morning (September 19, 2024). According to local police reports, two criminal suspects also fell to their deaths on the same day.

According to a police report released by the Tianxin Branch of the Changsha Public Security Bureau of Hunan Province on Thursday, at 9:12 am on September 19, 2024, a criminal case occurred in a dormitory in a community on Chengnan Road, Tianxin District, Changsha City. Liu Moujie (female, 58 years old) was killed, and the suspects Jiang Mou (male, 35 years old) and Jiang Mouhui (male, 31 years old) fell to their deaths. At present, the case is under further investigation.
