Micron Technology

Micron Technology said in a statement today that as one of the key foreign-invested enterprises in Shaanxi Province, Micron Technology was recently invited to attend the "Invest in China" Shaanxi special promotion event co-organized by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government in Xi'an. The event aims to help Shaanxi absorb and utilize foreign capital and promote the high-quality development of an open economy.

Betty Wu, Vice President of Micron Enterprises and General Manager of China, delivered a speech at the event, exchanging views with the Ministry of Commerce and government departments at all levels in Shaanxi Province on Micron's investment and development in Shaanxi and China, thanking them for their support and concern for Micron, and demonstrating Micron's firm confidence and continued investment in the Shaanxi and Chinese markets.

Wu Mingxia said that Micron Xi'an was officially established in 2006 and has now become Micron's largest global packaging, testing and integrated module production base, and has ranked first in Shaanxi Province's total import and export volume for 17 consecutive years. At the same time, Micron launched a RMB 4.3 billion factory expansion project in Xi'an, which is one of the largest investment projects announced by American technology companies in China in the past few years. It demonstrates Micron's confidence in "Investing in China", especially "Investing in Shaanxi".

Wu Mingxia finally said that China is one of Micron's largest markets in the world, and Micron will continue to invest in Shaanxi and China unswervingly; focus on the development of the storage field; vigorously innovate and empower the construction of digital China.

In addition, in March this year, Micron announced that its new packaging and testing plant in Xi'an has officially broken ground. The company will establish Micron's first packaging and testing manufacturing sustainable development center of excellence (CoE) in Xi'an.
