China to implement visa-free policy for Greece
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi revealed that China will implement a visa-free policy for Greece to strengthen cultural exchanges between the two countries.
According to the website of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Wang Yi said during a meeting with Greek Foreign Minister Gerapetitis on Wednesday (September 25, 2024) during the UN General Assembly in New York that the two sides should strengthen the two major ties of civilization exchange and pragmatic cooperation and continue to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries. He revealed that China will implement a visa-free policy for Greece, which will greatly facilitate personnel exchanges between the two countries and strengthen cultural exchanges.
According to Chinese media reports, Gerapetitis thanked China for implementing visa-free policies for Greek citizens, looking forward to more Chinese companies investing in Greece and welcoming more Chinese tourists to visit. He said that Greece supports EU-China cooperation and supports free trade.
