Xi Jinping and Kim Jong-un exchanged congratulatory messages

October 6, 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and North Korea. Chinese Communist Party General Secretary Xi Jinping and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un exchanged congratulatory messages.

According to the Korean Central News Agency, Kim Jong-un said in his congratulatory message that over the past 75 years, the two parties and the two countries have firmly believed in the correctness of their own cause, withstood various tests and challenges of history, and firmly embarked on the path of socialism. It is in the fundamental interests of the two countries to unswervingly inherit and develop the DPRK-China friendship with a long history and fine traditions.
