Madame Tussauds Beijing to close permanently

Madame Tussauds Beijing announced on Thursday (September 4, 2025) that due to the expiration of its lease and adjustments to its brand strategy, the museum will permanently close on October 1, 2025.

It is understood that after the closure, most celebrity wax figures will be relocated to Madame Tussauds locations across China. Visitors can visit Madame Tussauds locations in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Wuhan.
