Triumph to Cease Operations in Mainland China Market
According to an announcement on Triumph's official WeChat account, the Triumph Group has decided to halt its operations in mainland China starting December 31, 2025. The statement also mentioned that all offline stores of Triumph will gradually cease operations, with the latest closures by 10:00 PM on December 31.
Regarding the reasons for exiting the mainland China market, industry insiders suggest that although Triumph has high brand recognition, it faces intense market competition with the rise of local brands. A research report on the women's lingerie industry released by Northeast Securities in August noted that the current Chinese women's lingerie market is highly competitive and fragmented, with the top five brands accounting for only 6.2% of the market share—and Triumph is not among them.
