Hangzhou's Robotic Traffic Police Begin Trial Duty

Recently, a stylish new member joined the traffic police force at the intersection of Changhe Road and Bingsheng Road in Binjiang District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province—the AI traffic management robot "Hangxing-1" officially began its trial duty.

It is reported that "Hangxing-1" is capable of performing standard traffic command gestures such as "go straight" and "stop" fluently, while also attentively identifying traffic violations such as failing to wear a safety helmet, stopping beyond the designated line, and pedestrians jaywalking at crosswalks, issuing polite and patient voice reminders.
