China's "Jiu Tian" UAV Successfully Completes Maiden Flight
According to Xinhua News Agency, the "Jiu Tian" UAV recently completed its maiden flight successfully in Pucheng, Shaanxi.
As a large-scale general-purpose UAV platform independently innovated by China, this model adopts the design philosophy of a "general-purpose platform + modular mission payloads." Leveraging independent integration technological innovations, it boasts core advantages such as high payload capacity, high operational ceiling, wide speed range, and short takeoff and landing distances. The aircraft is 16.35 meters in length with a wingspan of 25 meters, a maximum takeoff weight of 16 tons, and a payload capacity of 6,000 kilograms. It offers an endurance of 12 hours and a ferry range of 7,000 kilometers, placing its performance indicators at the forefront among similar products.
