China's High-Speed Rail Network Surpasses 50,000 Kilometers in Total Operating Mileage

At 10:00 a.m. on December 26, 2025, with the departure of the C9309 Fuxing smart EMU (Electric Multiple Unit) from Yan'an Station, the Xi'an-Yan'an High-Speed Railway officially commenced operations. This milestone event also propelled China's total high-speed rail operating mileage past the significant threshold of 50,000 kilometers, surpassing the combined total of all other countries in the world.
