Magnitude 4.6 Earthquake Strikes Hejing County in China's Xinjiang

According to the official measurement by the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), a magnitude 4.6 earthquake occurred in Hejing County, Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, China (42.34°N, 84.98°E) at 16:30 on January 4, 2025. The quake had a focal depth of 23 kilometers.
