Magnitude 4.5 Earthquake Strikes Weining County, Bijie City in China's Guizhou Province

According to the official measurement by the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), a magnitude 4.5 earthquake occurred in Weining County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province, China (27.17°N, 104.03°E) at 04:01 on January 10, 2026. The tremor had a focal depth of 10 kilometers.

Currently, the Guizhou Provincial Earthquake Administration has dispatched an on-site working team to the affected area to assist local governments in carrying out emergency response efforts.
