According to the official measurement by the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), a magnitude 4.0 earthquake occurred in Yangxi County, Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, China (21.75°N, 111.77°E) at 14:28 on February 20, 2026. The tremor had a focal depth of 11 kilometers.
