According to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), a 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck Hejing County in the Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang at 06:25 on April 10, 2026. The epicenter was located at 42.45°N latitude and 84.68°E longitude, with a focal depth of 26 kilometers.
