According to public information, Guo Shiqiang, 49 years old this year, was selected for the national team in 1999. He represented the Chinese men's basketball team in the 2000 Sydney Olympics and the 2004 Athens Olympics, and announced his retirement in 2005. He served as the head coach of the Chinese men's basketball national team from 2009 to 2010.
