Many parts of China are experiencing high temperature weather, and the maximum temperature in Hangzhou's main urban area is expected to reach 40 degrees Celsius on Monday (July 22, 2024).

Hangzhou Meteorological Observatory in Zhejiang Province issued a red high temperature warning signal at around 9 a.m. on Monday, saying that under the control of subtropical high pressure, the highest temperature in all streets in the main urban area is expected to reach around 40 degrees Celsius that day, and reminded the public to take precautions against heatstroke and cool down.

According to the China Meteorological Administration, Ningxia, northern Shaanxi, central Shanxi, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, central and western Huanghuai, Jianghan, Jianghuai, Jiangnan, northern South China, eastern and northern Guizhou, eastern Sichuan, Chongqing and other places are expected to have high temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius.
