Recently, the Capital Airport Customs under Beijing Customs seized 7 cultural relics prohibited from leaving the country during the passenger inspection.

When the customs staff on site were supervising the luggage of passengers on outbound flights, they found that the image of a passenger's checked luggage showed multiple unidentified items with regular images. After unpacking and inspection, the customs officers found a large number of suspected cultural relics such as bronze statues, bronze mirrors, and porcelain plates in the passenger's luggage that had not been declared to the customs. According to the appraisal of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, 7 of the above-mentioned items were cultural relics from the Han, Yuan, and Qing dynasties, and were prohibited from leaving the country.
