China and Myanmar jointly combat telecom fraud

According to CCTV News, the Chinese police and the Myanmar police recently successfully carried out the second joint crackdown operation in the Muse area in northern Myanmar through international law enforcement cooperation.

According to reports, this operation has captured 870 suspects of cross-border telecommunications fraud, including 557 suspects of Burmese nationality and 313 suspects of Chinese nationality. According to the agreement between the two sides, all Chinese suspects have been handed over to China, while the Burmese suspects will be dealt with by Myanmar.
