China's social bicycle ownership is about 580 million

September 17th is World Cycling Day.

According to the China Bicycle Association, China currently has approximately 580 million bicycles and electric bicycles.

For every 100 trips made by urban residents in China, approximately 30 are made by bicycle or electric bicycle. Bicycles, with their flexibility and efficiency, are a more suitable means of transportation for short-distance commuting in cities.
