China's first independently developed intelligent urban rail train debuts

On September 18, 2025, the first Chinese-standard intelligent urban rail train, also known as the Beijing-Xiong'an Express, independently developed by CRRC Corporation Limited (CRRC Corporation Limited) with fully independent intellectual property rights, debuted in Qingdao. Built to Chinese standards, the train boasts fully independent core technologies and is capable of fully automated operation at GOA Level 4 at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour.
