Chinese Ministry of Education Advises Citizens to Carefully Consider Study Plans in Japan

On November 16, 2025, China’s Ministry of Education issued a study abroad advisory stating that recent deteriorating public safety conditions in Japan have led to frequent criminal incidents targeting Chinese citizens. The security environment and study conditions have worsened, elevating safety risks for Chinese nationals in Japan.
