China's Class of 2026: 12.7 Million Graduates Expected

According to statistics from China's Ministry of Education, the number of graduates from Chinese universities and colleges in 2026 is projected to reach 12.7 million, an increase of 480,000 compared to the previous year. In response, the Ministry has directed educational authorities and institutions across the country to launch the "Employment Expansion and Quality Enhancement Initiative for the 2026 Graduates" to promote high-quality and sufficient employment for new graduates.
