Chairman of QuantumCTek Lu Pin Passes Away Unexpectedly
China's leading quantum technology company QuantumCTek announced on Thursday evening (December 18, 2025) that its Chairman, Lu Pin, has tragically passed away.
The announcement stated that Lu Pin had served as the company's Chairman since May 2025, and also held positions as the Chair of the Strategy and Investment Committee and a member of the Remuneration and Appraisal Committee. As of the date of the announcement, Lu Pin did not hold any shares in the company and had no outstanding share lock-up commitments. Lu Pin also served as Chairman of the Board and Party Secretary of China Telecom Quantum Information Technology Group Co., Ltd., and was a key promoter of the industrialization of quantum technology in China.
