A magnitude-4.0 earthquake struck Yuli County in the Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region at 9:52 a.m. Beijing Time on March 7, 2026, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC). The epicenter was located at 40.95°N, 84.15°E, with a focal depth of 34 kilometers.
