Wahaha Chairman Zong Fuli was sued in Hong Kong for an asset dispute, and the three plaintiffs claimed to be her half-brothers and sisters.

According to Bloomberg, Hong Kong court documents show that the three plaintiffs are Jacky Zong, Jessie Zong and Jerry Zong. The plaintiffs' lawyers have clearly called them Zong Fuli's "half-brothers and sisters."

The plaintiffs' lawyers said that the three also filed a lawsuit in the Hangzhou court to obtain the trust rights promised to them by their late father Zong Qinghou, each worth about US$700 million. The plaintiffs asked Zong Fuli to respect her father's will, pay millions of dollars in asset interest, and compensate for losses caused by the transfer of funds.

After Zong Qinghou, China's former richest man and founder of Wahaha, died of illness on February 25, 2024, Zong Fuli took over as chairman. Previously, the media had been reporting that she was Zong Qinghou's only daughter.
