Shenzhen Post Office Customs seized 1,090.3 grams of ecstasy
Recently, customs officers at the Shenzhen Post Office discovered an abnormality in the machine-generated image of a parcel while conducting inspections of transit cargo. Upon unpacking and inspection, officers discovered that the outer packaging of seven candy packages was worn and the seals showed signs of secondary packaging. Based on the machine-generated images and the actual contents, officers conducted a comprehensive analysis and concluded that the parcel posed a risk of drug trafficking. Upon opening the candy packaging, they discovered a batch of flaky particles that clearly did not match the candy packaging. Testing with reagents confirmed that the particles tested positive for ecstasy. Further identification by a professional agency confirmed the presence of ecstasy components in the particles. The case has been transferred to the customs anti-smuggling department for handling.
